35% tax rebate

35% of film and television productions performed in Iceland are reimbursed by the Icelandic government. There is no cap or floor on the amount of reimbursement and the turnaround time is between 8-12 weeks.

20% of the total production costs incurred in other EEA and EU countries as well as recently Greenland and Faroe Islands is eligible for tax rebate in the Icelandic system.
